Summary
Kakuzu had already gone through every kind of experience throughout his long life. As an immortal, he had seen both his best and worst days, and he never imagined that, as the years piled on, he’d live moments just as intense as in his youth. It had never been something he worried about—after all, he’d become a grumpy old man—but then why the hell, at ninety-one years old, was he getting himself into a relationship absurdly affectionate by his standards? Complete with words that, in full sanity, he would never say?
(And perhaps the most surprising of all was the fact that he genuinely couldn’t bring himself to care about how ridiculous this fate was.)

Summary
Killua must be an incredibly strong man, Gon thought. Not just for the obvious, but for the fact that despite everything, his hands could still be gentle.
Gon is a Blacklist Hunter, hired by an unidentified client to locate and capture a sadistic, ruthless assassin who by all accounts doesn't - or shouldn't - exist. He's fought for his strength for this, to save people. He just wants to make sure nobody else gets hurt.
Killua is a product, the decades-long outcome of his family’s loving labour to bend, break, and torture him into a tool of purpose. He is a dog to be set loose, a judgement to be brought down. He is not supposed to want anything at all.
And then one day, he does.
(An alternate timeline where Gon and Killua never met, and Killua never escaped his family. Somehow, despite it all, they still manage to find each other.)

Summary
In a world where man and beast coexist unknowingly, there are many mysteries that have yet to be uncovered, some of which are hidden right in plain sight. For one particular schoolteacher, a simple hike through the woods eventually leads to a shocking discovery, changing his perspective on everything he's ever known.
Naturally, Iruka does what's in his compassionate nature when encountering someone in need; be that human or not. Thus, he heals him. Supports him. Provides for him. And eventually, even loves him. But there was one thing Iruka knew he wouldn't ever be able to do for his new silver haired companion, no matter how hard he tried.
And that was tame him.
