Eleven cautiously takes a step forward, hands out to her side as a warning for Steve and the rest of the group to stay back.
"...Three?" She asks.
The man, who was once a boy so familiar to her, turns around. He looks the same as he did as a child- buzzed hair and all.
"Eleven?" He asks in wonder.
"It's me," she whispers, reaching a hand out for him. "I came back for you."
Suddenly, Three's face hardens. "Don't lie! You aren't real!"
Eleven can feel her heart shatter as she watches the man in front of her pull at his hair from the root, fingers barely able to grab at the short strands.
