Legolas loves preparing for feasts in Aglarond with Gimli: watching Gimli dress in his carefully chosen finery until he sparkles like a constellation sent to earth; loves letting Gimli adorn and attire him in turn. Years into their marriage, it is a well-loved routine.
As for other aspects of the feast . . . Elves were meant to love the stars from afar, not to dwell among them, and there are some things that Legolas will never get used to.
