And Tony falls in love instantly.

Summary
Tony has been held by Stane since his escape from Afghani terrorists, marked dead in the eyes of the world while Stane is free to use his mind, inventions, and company as he sees fit. Tony feels there's nothing he can do and has resigned himself to death to save those he loves. That would be when JARVIS lets Captain America stumble into his old lab.
Steve has been wandering Avengers Mansion in the steps of a ghost, seeing empty spaces, and recurring oddities that mean nothing to anyone but him. He doesn't know who left them, or why the ghost lingers. It isn't even until he enters a dusty lab that things start to fall into place as he meets Anthony, a computer program named for its creator Anthony Stark.

Summary
Death threats are an unfortunate side-effect of being Tony Stark, so he's learned to ignore them. The problem is, when someone really wants you dead, hiding your head in the sand just kinda exposes your ass.
But it's not just Tony's behind on the line. Whoever wants him dead wants him to suffer first, and they're willing to do anything to make that happen. Tony knows there's only one way out. To save Steve, the Avengers, and the general public, Tony has to die. Of course, death isn't always the end, and Tony does what any other self-disrespecting scientist would do: he finds a way to fake his death and avenge his own murder.
The trouble is, terrible decisions usually have a terrible price, and this one is no different. Tony has a chance to save the day, but the cost may be more than Tony was ever expecting to pay…

Summary
Sherlock doesn’t take slights against his abilities very well - actually, he tends to be a bit of a child about it, not to mention vicious towards anyone who slights him. Just listening to one conversation between Sherlock and Anderson would illustrate that pretty well. Since coming to the Wizarding world, John has learned that those abilities extend to Seeking, and when Sirius implies - alright, Sirius doesn’t really imply anything, he makes what he’s saying very clear - that Sherlock isn’t as good as Harry… well, it winds them up here, on the Hogwarts Quidditch Pitch, Sherlock and Harry both with brooms in hand, and Lily holding a tiny golden ball that really doesn’t seem to want to stay still.
