It was nearly as easy to find a fervent believer as it would have been to find a wastrel willing to marry them for a few coppers. Septon Reynald is steadfast. Yes, he was entirely sober, knew that his actions were counter to Prince Jaehaerys’ will for his son, but believed ‘twould be a greater sin to force Prince Aerys into marriage to his own sister, a match Aerys did not consent to.
