Whumptober is finally here!! I can't promise I'll be a completionist by Halloween because I've been prepping for a month and I've only finished nine prompts but I'm having a good time and I will finish eventually!
It's gonna be a mixture between MHA and original content with a little spinkle of Umbrella Academy and Batfam at the very end. Trigger warnings for each chapter are hopefully in order in the tags but I'll also add them to the start of each chapter!

It's the... what the fuck?
The toxin's never been like this before. It creates hallucinations and triggers the fear receptors in your brain but it doesn't shove you into your worst memories and makes you feel like you are actually in there. Like you're actually living through it again.
The pain, the fear... they were as sharp as when he actually suffered it.
That was... way more than what he signed up for.
He looks for Bruce, but the man isn't there. Tim is next to the Batcomputer, talking into a recording device.

Tim thinks Jason is immune to fear toxin, so the best (and only) plan they have to combat Scarecrow's new formula is to test it on him and get an antidote ASAP.
Jason might've been bluffing when he said that the poison didn't affect him - but he'll be damned if he lets Barman see him scared. Again.
So he accepts.
Unfortunately, the Lazarus Pit effects force his family to live through his most painful, terrifying memories with him.
And none of them know what to do.

Summary
Jason’s head is still spinning, he’s still cold and his body is still hurting, but at least he can breathe. His body is slowly returning back to life, like bulbs slowly turning on in a long hallway. His heart speeds up, which is a common reaction once he wakes up, like trying to make up for the time it stopped. The numbness slowly leaves his body, and he can move his hands and legs again, but he doesn’t want to.
His vision clears, no longer tinted green, and there is saliva in his mouth again. His lungs slowly stretch.
He sees… Bruce. Shit.
He really, really didn’t want Bruce to see him like this. Let alone the rest of his batkids.
Or, dying and being brutally dragged back to life has horrifying side effects, which Jason really wants to keep hidden from the Batfamily. Until one day, he can't.
Inspired on a Tumblr prompt, details inside. No beta, we die like Jason but don't come back.
