Summary
Tommy heads to the end of the hall to the kids’ room. They’re sharing for now because Willow refuses to have August out of her sight for more than a few minutes, but eventually they’ll move the crib into the room across the hall. Hopefully.
The lights are off in the room and when Tommy pokes his head inside, Willow’s bed and August’s crib are empty, though Willow’s sheets are messy, a pillow missing and the comforter hanging half-off. Toys and books lay scattered on the floor, a pile of puzzle pieces left abandoned on the comfy chair in the corner.
Rubbing a hand over his face, Tommy follows the pool of light to his and Evan’s bedroom, and that’s where he finds them, all three of them tucked into their big bed.

Summary
Evan, lying naked on his stomach on this big bed, miles of golden skin pebbling with goosebumps as Tommy skims his palms along his broad shoulders and down his back. He cups Evan’s ass, and Evan squirms against the mattress.
“Are you going to actually do something soon?” Evan asks, shooting him annoyed look over his shoulder.
“Mm, impatient, huh?”
“Yes.”
“So gorgeous,” Tommy murmurs. “So needy.”

Summary
Buck leans in the doorway and watches as Tommy brushes bold strokes of paint across his canvas, a moody blue joining the streaks of purple and dark charcoal gray. Golden sunlight pours in the wide window, highlighting the silver in his hair and draping over his broad shoulders. The muscles in his bare arm bunch and ripple as he paints, his focus narrowed to the canvas and jars of paint in front of him.
OR: Buck admires his artist husband.

Summary
“Oh my god.”
Buck claws at the sheets beneath him, rubbing his unbearably hard dick against the mattress, seeking relief, any kind of pressure he can because Tommy told him not to touch himself and he aches.
Tommy hums and digs his tongue deeper into Buck’s ass, then licks a stripe behind his balls, slurping sloppily.
Buck moans, shoving his ass back into Tommy’s face. He’ll have bruises tomorrow from the way Tommy is holding his cheeks open, his skin already stinging from the scrape of Tommy’s stubble.
It’s okay. He wants to feel it.
OR: Five times Buck and Tommy recklessly use each other and one time they finally talk.

Summary
“You okay?” Tommy asks, using the hand resting on the back of Evan’s chair to scrub through his hair.
Evan turns toward him and smiles, but he looks tired. “Of course. Why wouldn’t I be?”
“Maybe because your best friend is getting married tomorrow and our we—”
“Daddy!” Charlotte barrels into Evan’s legs, always so full of energy that she can’t control her limbs. “Guess what!”
Grinning, Evan leans down and steadies Charlotte with his hands on her tiny shoulders. “What, sweet pea?”
She holds a hand to the side of her mouth and whisper-shouts, “Chris gave me a cookie!”
Chris, trailing behind with his hands buried in his pockets and tie askew, huffs and rolls his eyes. “Char, you weren’t supposed to tell them.”OR: Everyone has gathered to celebrate Eddie's wedding. Buck and Tommy spend the weekend being adorable and in love.

Summary
“I don’t even know what I’m doing here, actually,” Tommy murmurs, looking around the aisle. He picks up a box of lemon chiffon and then puts it right back on the shelf.
“You love cake,” Buck reminds him. “All kinds of cake, but I’ve noticed that chocolate is your favorite. I was going to bake you one for your birthday. Four layers, buttercream filling, ganache—the works. Asshole.”
“You’re a lot meaner in dreams than in real life,” Tommy observes.
After the breakup, Buck and Tommy meet in their dreams.

Summary
Tommy is on his back, dark sunglasses on, basking in the heat like a cat. Buck thinks he might actually be asleep. The rise and fall of his chest is so even, so regular. His ever-moving fingers are calm and still. He looks peaceful. There’s something so casually domestic about this, just laying side by side in the backyard with no plans, warm and indulgent in the sun, like they have all the time in the world to just be together.
And Buck loves that. He really, deeply loves it; feels lucky beyond words to have a partner who wants this with him, who will give it to him. But he’s also… well, bored. That’s not a reflection on Tommy or on their relationship. Buck has just never been good at sitting still.

Summary
“Hey guys,” a familiar voice says from behind them and Buck turns to see Tommy standing there, looking gorgeous…
Wait, Buck thinks, no, no, this is his friend. Tommy is not gorgeous. In fact, he looks perfectly….fine...in jeans and his favorite tan jacket over what looks like another one of his henleys.
Yeah, Tommy looks fine. He is fine.
Really, really fine.
Buck curses himself because this is a very dangerous road for his mind to go down and he knows it.
Or: 5 times Buck and Tommy didn't know they were dating, and 1 time they do.

Summary
“Well,” Thomas chuckles, a beautiful sound if Buck has ever heard one. He wants to hear that sound again. “I tell people that it dislocated when I was stopping a helicopter from falling off a building, you know, like Captain America.” Thomas flexes his muscles then, showing off his thick arms, which Buck has the strangest urge to bite. “But I actually just lost a game of tug of war with my dog.”
That startles a laugh out of Buck’s mouth, and he turns to see Thomas grinning at him. Buck feels almost trapped under his gaze. Thomas is staring at him in a way he can’t decipher, his nose scrunching up in a way that has Buck’s heart beating at a perfectly normal pace (if normal is trying to win an olympic sprint).
“What about you?” Thomas asks, tilting his head slightly and gesturing towards his leg.
Buck thinks about telling him the truth. Saying he’s the firefighter that half the population saw getting crushed by a firetruck. But for right now, he doesn’t want to be seen as that guy. So instead, he simply says, “Crush injury.”
