Tonowari is a subtle man, maybe too subtle. In fact, you hardly even notice when he starts courting you.
Originally posted to Tumblr. Based on this request: Imagine shy!tonowari has been "courting" reader for years but reader is oblivious because they're horrible at social cues and they've been friends since childhood so they don't think anything of it other than tonowari just being his usual 'kind' self

(Sequel to Let Go, Begin Again)
It's been a bad time for the van der Linde Gang. First the mess at Blackwater, and now their plan to steal Colm O'Driscoll's train job quite literally goes up in smoke when an ex-O'Driscoll blows up Ewing Basin, and the robbery plans along with it.
One thing is for certain: it's going to be a long few months.

Summary
"There is nothing to be afraid of, Mr. Morgan. Take a gamble that love exists, and do a loving act."
--------
Kieran needed to get away from the O’Driscolls, he knew that for a very long time. But he didn’t think he’d ever manage to escape Colm and his men alive, until one fateful day, when he was violently captured by the Van der Linde gang’s enforcer, Arthur Morgan.
It was like the start of a new life. A painful, shitty new life, but a new one none the less.
As for Arthur … well, he doesn’t quite know how to feel about the newest addition to the gang.

Summary
A couple of weeks ago, a man by the name of Leopold Strauss had come by your homestead. He explained how he was with a loaning company, giving people a certain amount of money. But, he failed to mention how quickly you would need to pay up, you could barely provide for yourself, let alone pay back $1000 in three weeks. You get a rude awakening to this when a hunk of a cowboy practically breaks down your door, demanding the money.
