You have already left me before, but Yang didn’t say it out loud. She knew that Ruby was doing everything that she possibly could to assure Yang that she had no intention of leaving in any definition of the word any time soon. But intention doesn’t completely stop the fear. Doesn’t wipe away the memories of her sister poisoning herself when Yang could only watch.
Doesn’t shake away the period of time where Yang truly thought her baby sister, who she loved more than anything in the world, had gone where she could not follow.
