Summary
Captain and Starlight are perfect for each other. Hongjoong and Seonghwa? Not so much.
For two years, Captain has been Seonghwa’s refuge, his online friend, the one that makes the world feel lighter. Captain is soft, patient, and a rock when Seonghwa needs comfort, teasing when he needs a push. Their chats have always been a little flirty, but lately they’ve been drifting somewhere else. Somewhere Captain craves control and Seonghwa just want to let go.
And yet, when morning comes, Seonghwa’s reality is nothing like that. Next door to his newly opened flower shop is Kim Hongjoong: tattooed, cocky and with an infuriatingly hot tongue piercing and words sharp enough to cut deep. They clash every time they cross paths and Seonghwa just wants Hongjoong to leave him alone.
What Seonghwa doesn’t realize is that the asshole he can’t stand might bring more than just cigarette smoke and hurtful words into his life.

Summary

Summary
The Orchid has a reputation for brutality, one that has been earned through each blood-infused bloom planted in the city streets. His true identity is unknown, but his penchant for violence is no secret. However, the man behind the name is a walking contradiction, gentle and dangerous and intoxicating all in the same breath.
Kim Hongjoong was never supposed to give into his desires. It’s a risk he can’t afford to take.
On a seemingly unrelated note, Park Seonghwa is a paramedic in the city who receives an ambulance call after a gunfight. Resigned to a solitary life after a difficult past, he has no desire to form connections with others, and his walls are impenetrable. He is not as innocent as he seems, however; flirting with danger comes naturally.
Park Seonghwa was never supposed to let himself care again. It’s a risk he can’t afford to take.

Summary
Just like he promised, Hongjoong had his homework ready the next day. It was done perfectly and meticulously. Maybe a little too good for a student of Seonghwa’s caliber, but he’ll take it.
He ruffled Hongjoong’s hair and cooed, “See, that wasn’t so hard, was it?”
Hongjoong simply smiled and nodded back. And so he became the perfect pet.

“The fifth thing you're good at is giving head?” To Hongjoong’s utter amazement, Seonghwa doesn’t sound angry or grossed out. If anything, he sounds curious. And despite the flush still burning his cheeks, Hongjoong can’t help but flick his eyes to Seonghwa’s face.
Seonghwa is still staring at him, but his scowl (which Hongjoong assumed was a semi-permanent part of his face) is nowhere to be seen. Instead, his lips are parted slightly, showing a sliver of white teeth, and there’s a spark in his eyes that Hongjoong has never seen before.
His stomach spins, and this time, it’s not from the coffee.
He has to clear his throat before he can form a reply. “Yeah. Apparently, I’m pretty good at it.”
“Prove it.”
