Summary
Book One: Though Darth Nox and Darth Marr have had an occasionally contentious working relationship since her ascension to the Council nearly a year ago, they formed an alliance after Nox saved Makeb for the Empire, and find themselves in a surprising situation on Rishi. What remains to be seen is how this unexpected deviation from mere diversionary entertainment will affect them, their professional relationship, and the Empire.
Book Two: It is a time of upheaval. Kryn and Marr are overseeing the restructuring of the Empire after the destruction of Ziost, determined to stop the mad former Emperor before he can strike again. Contending with enemies both internal and external, they search out long-lost Sith secrets and tentative allies as they guide the Empire toward lasting stability.
Book Three: Even as the Empire, now free of Vitiate's clutches, finds greater strength and cohesion, its balance is threatened by those furious at changes they believe threaten their power and standing. Will Kryn and Marr be able to shepherd the Empire through these tribulations, or will everything fall apart despite their careful plans and best efforts?

After so long in the darkness of Valkorion's influence, Arcann must learn to live in the light. Nothing about that says he has to admit his burgeoning romantic feelings for the Outlander's sister, though.
Ca'ii Sartoris has always had a tendency to "pick up strays," as her sisters used to put it, and it's only natural that she'd take pity on Arcann, refusing to leave him to an existence of isolation within the Alliance. Nothing about that says she has to admit her burgeoning romantic feelings for the son of Valkorion, though.

Summary
The walls that separate each room from the next are made of plaster, and someone long before Moiraine’s time, took great pains to carve a small hole at pillow height. A hard thing to replicate as novices, as each young woman’s room was routinely inspected, but the familiar sight — she’s tampered with the hole every night she’s been here, foolishly hoping for a different result — sours her mood further. She doesn’t need to press her eye to it to know that the room beyond is vacant. Dark and cold and empty in the same way her chest is.
And yet, she pushes her face to the wall all the same, lips grazing against it and whispers the same words she’s said every night since her test.
“I miss you.” They ring hollow in her ears, and detestably watery. “I wish you were here, Siuan.”
OR
Moiraine is raised to Accepted a few weeks before Siuan, with some dire consequences.
