    Summary

It started a week into February, when Tom Riddle turned to his friend Lucius in the library and said, "I've just had the best idea."

Lucius forced himself not to cringe. There was no way in hell the next words out of Tom's mouth would be a good idea.

"I'm going to send Potter a Valentine."

    And there it was.

When Slytherin Head Boy Tom Riddle decides to send a Valentine to his rival Harry, he means it as a prank - and expects the Gryffindor to fling it away and set it on fire.

He doesn't expect Harry to blush from his head to his toes. And he really doesn't expect the thought that he's cute to cross his mind right after.

    Summary

When Harry throws himself into Tom Riddle’s arms exclaiming, “Of course I’ll go to the Valentine’s ball with you!” it’s not a pre-planned decision. It’s not something his heart and mind agree on before it happens, especially when Harry knows he can’t take another heartbreak––it just happens.

It’s not how he’d wanted his Valentine’s Day to go (or it was, but only in his innermost fantasies), but it was better than the alternative.

The alternative being a desperate Romilda Vane. Harry just has to hope he can smother his past feelings for Tom in order to keep her red claws firmly away from his figure.

    Summary

“You promised you would marry me,” Tom says.

“I—” Harry feels lightheaded. “Tom, we were seven.”

    “So you lied?”

“No,” Harry says. Surer, then, “No. I didn’t.”

Harry and Tom are childhood friends. When they were seven, Tom proudly announced that he would marry Harry when they were older.

Now, ten years later and in N.E.W.T. year, Tom plans on making that promise a reality.
