Summary
Rumi has been training to be a knight for as long as she can remember, following in her mother’s footsteps.
Soon, the King and Queen hire Rumi to be their daughter's personal knight and Rumi doesn't want to disappoint them. Mira, the crown Princess, doesn't really want a knight but she doesn’t really get a say in this.
They might just like each other.OR
“I didn’t expect you to actually find me,” Mira says, legs dangling off the bookshelf.
She shook her head to get out of her trance. “Princess Mira, with all due respect, please get off of the bookshelf. There’s a chance you'll fall.”
Mira simply smirks at Rumi. Rumi instinctively reaches out when Mira leans forward, looking down at her. And she jumps. In heels. Rumi is a little impressed as she stands there dumbfounded. "So you're the new knight my parents hired to follow me around?"
