Grian huffed, swiping exhaustedly at his forehead. It was damp with sweat, and he could already feel the sting of sunburn developing on his skin.
He cast a longing glance up at Monopoly Mountain. He was pretty sure that Scar was still in there, resting from the hot sun and avoiding the distinct desire for blood blood blood that arose whenever he was around anyone.
Well, anyone but Grian, apparently. Which still didn’t make any sense to him.
Or, it’s hot in the Sandlands, and the sun is relentless. But Grian is busy—he can’t take a break, not for a little heat.

According to Council records, the Fulgur Ovium Zedaph Pleighs and his two co-workers - the Ignis Petra Tango of the Tek Clan and the Inferni ImpulseSV - are officially called Sapience Outreach Specialists. They jokingly refer to themselves though as the First Contact Crew. It’s up to them to determine the sentience and sapience of alien races that either volunteer or are brought to them by the Council.
