Summary
Ushijima can't sleep. He tries everything - music, reading, relaxation (i.e., watching the same volleyball match from 1999 over and over again) - but nothing helps. So he goes to the one person he knows has all the answers, or can at least help him figure out why he cannot get to sleep.

Tendou can see the darkness under his eyes now, how downtrodden his features were. And though his face was still as emotionless as ever, there was a dullness to his eyes too. How had he not noticed that sooner?
What else had Tendou failed to notice about his best friend?
“You’re frowning.”
Ushijima’s soft voice startles him out of his thoughts. Ushijima is looking at him now, head tilted to the side like he does when he can’t understand something but is curious and wants an answer. Tendou sees he’s finished changing before he looks into Ushijima’s eyes, at the dullness still encircling them. He quickly looks away, clenching his fists at his sides.
Tendou forces out a laugh as he pushes himself off the locker, “Just thinking about the homework I haven’t done for our English class! You know I never do it. Come on, they’ll be waiting for us.”

It's not like it's a problem that he's tall and handsome and brilliant and a crack shot and has beautiful eyes and... ugh. Surely fighting bioterrorists and BOWs is more difficult than sharing a bed with Leon for one lousy night. Right? Right?
