“Lex is making me go with him to Gotham,” – was probably not the best way for Kon to start his conversation with Red Robin on that fine afternoon in the Tower. His Robin paused, before he looked up at the floating half-Kryptonian from where he was solving random case-files that most detectives hadn’t been able to crack for decades, probably. Rob was crazy like that - not like Kon was complaining, Rob’s brain was probably one of Kon’s favourite things about him.
(Alongside his hair. And hands. And waist. And–)
Or: Kon goes to Gotham. Tim knows that Kon is Superboy, Kon doesn't know that Red Robin is Tim.
This could only go well for the two of them, right?

Summary
Death is usually the end. Finality. That's kind of the definition of it.
And falling several stories toward concrete usually meant death. Timothy Drake had certainly assumed as much in the final seconds before he hit the sidewalk at terminal velocity.
But Tim should have realized that, given the complexity of his life, his death would never be that cut and dry.
Enter: a severed head, ten missing months, and an immortal cult leader.
A little less simple. And for some reason, Jason Todd seems to have some answers to his missing months and the violent urge that curdles beneath his skin.

Tim paused, his body going taut. Something dark filled his eyes and he took another step closer to Kon, their chests pressed together. “That’s hot,” he said, “Who knew you were such a freak?”
“You did the same thing, didn't you?” Kon breathed.
Or: Conner has been stalking Tim Drake, an amazing guy he's in love with. Tim has been stalking Conner Luthor, a great guy he's going to make his. Who knew they were both superheroes?
