There were many rumours about the Black Widow, some of which might even have been true. The most reliable of these were presented to Clint in maybe the sketchiest mission briefing he'd ever received, full of words like 'allegedly' and 'probably' and 'although it seems unlikely' which seemed out of place in a SHIELD file. There was only one piece of information that truly surprised him.

Summary

Things are going smoothly until they aren't. Her college ex she hasn't seen in nearly 20 years is on the museum board and hotter than ever (AKA Bruce Wayne), some colleagues challenge her every idea, the women's shelter she volunteers at in the East End is under constant pressure from the mob, and Thea has a massive academic paper to research and write as part of her job.
But wait, there's more!
Will her violent past and present catch up with her before she can explain it to the new and old friends in her life?
