She bites her lip. “You’ve been working with Baku for a couple months, right? So you're already used to it by now, and that's why I'm asking for advice on this. From someone who's been dealing with the paranormal longer than me.” Minami finally looks Nasuka in the eye who, for some reason, is a bit surprised by the request.

"I've been... fine," she mutters, opting to look at the cup of coffee she has a tight grip on rather than the person she's talking to, as if it's a better conversation partner than an actual human. Maybe it is.
Her words seemed to be clear enough though as her old classmate smiles at the response. "I'm really happy to hear that, y'know? Out of everyone in class, I never considered you much of a talker but..." She bites her lip as she stirs her drink. "When highschool ended, I never heard from you. I don't think anyone did, actually." The smile doesn't slip away from her face, but guilt begins to eat away at Kureha. Not only is this whole situation awkward and tense for her, but now she feels bad about what she did when she was younger as well. It must've been been for a good reason though, even if she can't quite recall it at the moment. She's a rational person, she trusts that what she did is for the best.
"I've asked Nasuka about you once and even she doesn't know."
Kureha's head jolts upwards at the mention of her best friend's name.
Kureha, Nasuka, and moments of them apart and together.
