Summary
“You ready to call it?” Buck asks finally, after admitting to Eddie that this kind of fun was what he needed and Nashville was not all that bad.
He gets up from his bar stool, hand on his ridiculous cowboy hat so it doesn’t fall off with his movements. He looks down at Eddie, also wearing a cowboy hat but pulling it off far better than Buck probably is.
Eddie is still sitting. He looks up at Buck, and his face is, for once, kind of unreadable. Buck is usually fluent in Eddie Diaz but right now his purposeful stare and quirk of his lips is not registering with Buck.
--1x12 coda, Dixie was never at the bar, and Buck and Eddie go back to Buck's hotel room.

“Buck is very important to you, isn’t he?” she says, tone neutral and level.
“Yeah, he’s my best friend.” Eddie answers immediately.
“Right, of course,” she nods. “But do you ever think that maybe there’s something there between the two of you?”
Eddie feels momentarily dizzy at the implication and he digs his nails into his palms, staring straight ahead.
