Summary
“Com—” Her voice cracks, and she clears her throat. “Come in!”
“Nice save,” Agatha whispers sarcastically.
“Shut up,” the girl snaps, whipping her head around to shoot Agatha a glare that could kill, hissing through her teeth.
Then, the door creaks open slowly, the sound dragging out in the thick silence. Every second feels like an eternity to Agatha, her heart pounding in her chest as she holds her breath, staring at the door. The anticipation is unbearable, the tension in the air palpable.
And then, she sees her.
Rio.

Summary
“Agatha,” she said, “Are you referring to any rule in particular?”

Rio’s face twisted into a familiar, constipated look. “I think I need to sit down.”
Or,
On the first night of an arranged marriage, two childhood best friends blunder through the question of whether to make good on a religious obligation to conceive a child.

Summary
“Well, not all of us take a job offer and skip town, better yet moves across the country, without a single goodbye”
The younger woman snickered over Agatha’s words. A low laugh hidden behind the beer that brushed against her lips.
“Oh! So, it’s a joke to you?” Agatha perked up in her seat.
“Agatha..” Lilia muttered a warning for her to settle down, but that was impossible.
“No! No, clearly Rio here doesn’t care about what she did-”
“There it is,” Rio muttered under her breath.
“What?”
“The jealousy,” Rio cleared her throat, lowering the beer to let Agatha see her face bright with glory. “You can’t stand I received a job offer with pay you couldn’t dream of”
No..it’s that you never said goodbye to me..
____
Rio moved across the country for the job of a lifetime, said goodbye to all her friends- Except, Agatha. Now forced to see each other for a two week trip after a year apart, heartbreak meets jealousy and safe to say? Two weeks would be life threatening to them all. Especially with Rio's new girlfriend in tow. An AU.
