'You already do, Cas', Dean thinks. “It’s okay, bud,” he slurs instead. Feeling warm and sleepy lowers all of his guards and, as true exhaustion begins to creep up on him, so does an unsettling feeling that Dean doesn’t know how to explain. It’s like Dean and Cas aren’t alone in the room, someone else watching and breathing down Dean’s neck from the shadows of his dreams.
“Cas,” Dean breathes, a tight feeling in his chest. “What if he’s still here?”

(Dean kicks Michael out of his body, but continues to be haunted by him---his Grace and his voice poisoning Dean's body and mind, corrupting the very core of his self. Summary
Dean is living the dream. He has a husband he loves, two great kids, and he owns his own bar. There are a few less-than-ideal snags, like one of his investors who refuses to take no for an answer, and the fact that Dean can’t seem to remember some major milestones from the past few years. That’s not even to mention his distant father randomly dropping back into his life whenever it’s convenient for him.
But those are just small bumps in the road. Dean knows that with the love and support of his husband and children, he can make it through anything.
