    Summary

"I find myself wondering, sweet reader, when exactly someone will take a shovel to the back of this racist statue's metal head and begin dismantling our university’s scandalous love affair with the most problematic donors they could possibly find. I’m looking at you, President Zarkon, kindly remove your hand from the Republican Party’s dick. This is a liberal arts college for God’s sake."

When Galra University's Tumblr page, meant for football game updates and pleads for attendees for club meetings, is plagued by a mysterious writer determined to eviscerate every toxic part of the college, Lance is intrigued. When he becomes a leading character in the anonymous letters, well, he gets a little more curious. Lance becomes determined to unveil the writer and find out a) what is his problem exactly and b) does he really think Lance's eyes are that blue?

A tale in which Lance is oblivious and pining for the hot nerd in the back of his Greek mythology class, Keith can wield a pen with deadly cruelty, and you, dear readers, suffer from the pains of dramatic irony.

    Summary

“Maybe Keith wants to leave,” he murmurs to himself, like an afterthought that sends a fleeting jolt of panic through his chest.

Something about that is apparently funny, because Adam lets out a huff of laughter and shakes his head, adjusting his glasses. “Are you kidding?”

Shiro frowns at him. “I’m being serious.”

Adam mostly ignores him. “Don’t you see the way he looks at you?”

    “What?”

“He’s always watching you, when you’re not looking.”

    Summary

Kolivan himself was manning the front desk of the studio when the boy walked in. It was a slow day, and he was actually getting engrossed in a novel when he heard the jingle of the bells hung on the door that signaled someone entering the shop. Kolivan looked up and saw a young boy, likely only in his teens, walk into the shop with his hands in the pockets of his faded red zip-up hoodie. The kid -- he really was a kid, Kolivan should have asked him to leave right then and there -- had overgrown black hair that fell into his dark, guarded eyes and curled up where it hit his shoulders. There was a hole in his black jeans that looked like it had come from wear, rather than been placed there for aesthetic purposes, and his beat-up converse shoes had definitely seen better days.

“Can I help you?” Kolivan wondered if he was lost. He struggled to remember if the local high schools were on break yet. Was this kid supposed to be in school?

“Hope so.” The kid came to stand in front of the reception desk. “I saw your sign in the window. I’d like to apply for the job.”

    Summary

The reason why the shack was still standing, was because the Nevada wilderness was bleak and empty.
Open and sprawling, miles and miles of sand and rock with barely any rain each year. Nevada encompassed two deserts, the Mojave stretched across as one of the largest in the continent.
It was unremarkable, nondescript, and every cliff looked like the one before it.
Maybe that’s why the Garrison never found the shack, or maybe they didn’t care to look for it.
(Maybe that’s why the Paladins hadn’t either.)

He didn’t have anything to do most days, nowhere to go, nobody to fight.
He ran, he took his knife and strapped on his boots (They were wearing thin and busting at the seams, leaving blisters that bled and bled) and just...ran.
Until his muscles burned and the air seared his throat and the closest thing to an adrenaline rush burned in his blood.

(And when he found a cliff just high enough, just dangerous enough...he’d dangle his legs over the edge and scream until the coyotes would howl back.)
