She had tried to just, forget about it, force her mind and her heart to stop feeling like that, to just get over it, focus on other things; but it was proven to be extremely hard with how the pyro girl was practically always around her, and how her own demeanor was highly affectionate.

Kokomi blinks slowly, taking in the words quietly. This game is simple, deceptively so, there’s no clear cut objective to creep towards, and Kokomi feels displaced, out of her depth. Because duelling is all she’s ever known; she was raised with a wand in her hand and lightness in the tips of her toes; winning is what she’s been taught quietly and painstakingly and repeatedly through the years. Yet this game has no winning or losing, only survival.
So, if the bottle lands on her, all Kokomi has to do is survive.
Child’s play, really.
or; darkness wraps around them, and all kokomi has to do is evade sara’s scorching embers for seven minutes. seven minutes, though, proves to feel more like an eternity.
