Summary
The Metafolk are a race of higher dimensional beings, Gods, who see those on the lower plane as lower lifeforms they can do as they please with, regardless of any resistance they may put up. Many worlds and universes have been twisted and torn apart due to their whims and urges since the very beginning of time.
But one of these divine beings, a particularly abnormal and spiteful one, turned against them. They want nothing more than to see the Metafolk annihilated. But even with their unusual abilities, they couldn't do it alone. But with some help, it might just be possible to erase every last trace of them from existence. It was only a matter of time...

Summary
Elster-512 was not having a good week.
First, she was fired from her job at the Penrose Program for no discernable reason by her superior. Then, instead of being decommissioned, she was kicked out of her Replika military dorms and told to lodge in an apartment somewhere with the Gestalt humans, of all things. And now, just after she has moved in, she finds out that she's being haunted by a ghost who likes to lounge around underdressed and keeps claiming they were married in the future.
As if the flesh cultists, malfunctioning neural unit, and inexplicable obsession from her Demigoddess Commander weren't enough, now Elster had to contend with herself slowly going mad from nightmares of another life she couldn't remember.
At least the ghost was cute.
