He sleeps right through the apocalypse.
When he finally wakes up, the Earth's already gone to shit and finished its smoke break. There's more sand in the air than ash, static on every frequency that’s been drilled into him, and too much sun all around.
The first thing the Asset does after crawling out of the collapsed bunker is put a bullet through a rat the size of a toddler trying to chew his boot off. The first thing Bucky does, though that happens much later, is laugh. It’s real fucking ironic to be standing in a sea of burning sand after centuries in his deep-freeze deluxe and still be cold.
Hell of a welcome back.
It’s simple. The world ended. He didn’t.

Summary
Almost everyone in the world had a soulmate; it was rare for one to have none, and rare for one to have multiple. And when a soulmate dies and leaves their other half alone, their name becomes a scar on their wrist. Tony Stark did not believe in soulmates. Not because he didn't have one, but because he had two. Two dead men whose names were not scarred over on his wrist as they should be. It made him strange, made him an anomaly, and made his father despise him more than he already did. So he ignored it, ignored them, and hid the evidence from the rest of the world. What more could he do? His supposed "soulmates" were dead; he'd never know what it was like to be complete.
That is, until an incident brings him to the past and face-to-face with the dead men who've haunted him all his life, before they became famous and, well, dead. What is he supposed to do with this information? How can he let himself get close to them, knowing their fates? He knows he can't stay; he's seen enough Back to the Future to understand that any small thing could fuck up the timeline in irreversible ways, but how can he turn away from the one chance he has at getting to know the men outside of the myths?

“So you’re really a hero?” the man, Midoriya, asks as they walk through the dark, wet halls of the underground base.
“Regrettably,” Shota answers.
“Hey, but now you get a chance to take 'em down from the inside. Ah, here we are!” he calls as they walk through the large metal door, “Your new weapon, All for One.”
Shota stalls, his eyes going wide for a second before he remembers his role. What the hell? This was the ‘demon’ he was supposed to be investigating? The ‘lord of evil’?
The small figure sits up, rubbing their face tiredly. They turn and wide, scared green eyes stare at him.
All for One is… a child?!
Or
There’s word from the underground that ‘All for One’ has returned. Aizawa is sent undercover to investigate these claims and is surprised to see that the so-called ‘king of the underworld’ is a small, scared child locked behind bars. Aizawa’s going to save him, Izuku tries to learn to be a kid, Tsukauchi and all might try to figure out what to do with the boy with the too familiar quirk, all while the real All For One lurks in the shadows.

Summary
Tony Stark never came out as Iron Man. Instead, he’s set himself up as the Avengers’ primary benefactor, giving them a home, his money and his inventions, while masquerading as his own mysterious bodyguard: Iron Man. Tony does his best to keep the rest of Avengers at arm’s length, though Steve constantly challenges his resolve.
After the events of CA:WS, Steve asks Tony to fund an expedition to find Bucky, and for Iron Man to be on the team. Once they bring him to the tower, Tony tries to keep his distance as Bucky regains his memories & the Brooklyn Boys rebuild their relationship.
Much to his dismay, neither Steve nor Bucky are interested in giving him that option. Featuring lots of Tony Stark angst, stories from pre-war Brooklyn, and a love-square-turned-triad.
Content warnings for: trauma; memory loss/processing; serious bodily harm; processing the loss of a limb

Go on an adventure with Tony and Terminator.
The Asset and his Mechanic.
The Husky with murder/adorbs vibes and the Chihuahua with a Doberman attitude and poor survival skills, who go around causing murder and mayhem to all kinds of terrorists, yay!
I was so glad with the one shot absolution. The sequel, i’m not that happy about. It’s good, but it’s not as good.
Absolution gave me a sense of wide open future, bright eyed and big and shaping one of the paths that future can take, shaping that future, limiting that, feeling of Mufasa opening his paw and showing Simba the Savannah to only one place as it were.So Absolution can be read as a one shot, because I love it like that. But I also like the rest. The sequel is cute. Read both if you want, read neither if you’re a Steve Rogers fan, you've been warned.
