“I don’t know,” Clive replied in the same hushed tone, that unease stirring a little further as he added, “I think so.”Clive born in Ash, had no idea the far reaching consequences that would arise for himself when his small village chose to surrender to the conquering soon to be King Barnabas Tharmr when they woke upon a morning to see his army beyond the gates of their small community.
A fate that was all but sealed when bright blue eyes surrounded by a head of unruly black hair met the cool unreadable blue of a conquering King.
