She gave him a look up and down, “How about we get you off this dirty floor and to somewhere safe?” he proposed, “Get a little food and cleaned up,”
“I’m not supposed to trust Pillties,” Powder rushed out, her voice riddled with exhaustion, Vi’s words echoing around her mind, reminding her to not trust so easily.
“Well, it’s a good thing I’m from the Undercity as well,” the voice reassured, “I’m Viktor,” he man reached out his hand for Powder to take. She contemplated the handshake, “I swear up and down the Lanes, I’m not going to hurt you, I only want to help someone the same way I would have liked when I was your age,” Viktor said earnestly.
