Will’s head slumps onto Mike’s shoulder, gentle breath echoing in the concavement where his neck meets jawline.
“You can practice on me.” Mike blurts, eyes glued to the screen.
“W- What?” Will stammers, head flying up to stare into the side of Mike’s face.
Mike winces. “Kissing. You can practice with me– like, friends. Y’know?” He swallows. The colors on the screen are suddenly very interesting. His eyes refuse to drift. “It doesn’t have to mean anything.”

The first thing Will notices when he wakes up is the throbbing headache that follows a night of too much drinking.
