"Percy's phone vibrated, and he glanced at it. First, he saw a mirror picture of him and his good friend Annabeth before they went to their Valentine's Day dinner date. Upon seeing his lock screen, he realized that he forgot to tell Annabeth that, this morning, Estelle saw the picture and asked if they were married. Then, he saw the notifications of Annabeth's texts.

Or, Percy and Annabeth through the years in an alternate world where their families hate each other. Which sounds normal, I suppose, but they're also human.
