If you were to ask Dan how the hell he’d managed to drive into the dodgy part of a city he barely knew, he wouldn’t have the foggiest idea. He really was just that unlucky.
OR:
Dan owns his own law firm, while Phil is a sex worker on the streets of Paris.

“I'm showing you the past,” Phil says.
“Why?”
Phil shrugs.

November 1983. Between unpaid bills, the supposedly straight jock he’s seeing, and letters from his convict dad, seventeen year old Eddie Munson’s got enough to worry about. But when Will Byers goes missing, it sparks a chain of events that will show there are more depths to Hawkins — and to certain people in it, like infamous Steve ‘The Hair’ Harrington — than he realizes.
/ or, the excessively long slow-burn in which Eddie is involved in the Upside Down from the very beginning.

Summary
Bucky's dog tags were folded in the crease of the paper he'd torn from his journal, reading: "Steve, here. You have them, if you want them. You have me, if you want me. I’ve never tried loving a man before but for you I’ve run headfirst into wars and Death’s wide, gaping jaws, so this is easy in comparison. This is like breathing."
It was so dark when Bucky handed him the note, the fire just burning out, and he glanced back only once to see Steve watching him as he walked away.

The thing about hating Steve Rogers is that it shouldn’t be easy - but it really, really is.
