Based on this text post from thebloggerbloggerfun: "Listen, imagine Eileen sneaking out of Sam’s room at night to go to the bathroom or something and steps out into the hallway in one of Sam’s shirts only to see Cas trying to quietly leave Dean’s room while wearing one of Dean’s shirts and they both just stare at each other awkwardly for a few seconds before trying to muffle quiet laughter and now they have a late night club where they talk about life and gossip about the Winchesters in sign language"

Summary
Castiel was entrusted with the most sacred mission: protect the Michael Sword, the Righteous Man, until he can be of use to Heaven in the war against Lucifer. He willingly fell to Earth, with the knowledge that he would be captured, enslaved, and eventually fall into the possession of the Righteous Man’s father. He was not prepared for what that would entail, and the horror he would be forced to face at his master’s hands.
When Dean was seven, Dad went on a hunting trip, and came back with a bound, beaten man in a tan coat who suddenly went everywhere with them. His job, Dad explained, was going to be protecting Dean and Sam while Dad was away hunting.
At first, Dean doesn’t understand why the man stays around just to basically babysit them... until one terrible day he does: it’s not that Castiel won’t leave, it’s that he can’t — and after that, nothing will ever be the same.

Summary
"Captain's Log, Stardate 10918.8. Captain Ellen Harvelle reporting, First Officer… Castiel… attending. After a month of bargaining with the Gehennian government, efforts to permit a search party within the Rack facilities still proved unsuccessful. Although Starfleet’s orders dictated we tuck tail and leave, I elected to disregard this decision and beam a rescue operations team down for the recovery of Lieutenant Commander Dean Winchester.
The life of Commander Rufus Turner was lost in the efforts, but the hostage was recovered, severely injured but alive. Although I have not escaped unscathed for disobeying a direct order, Starfleet has redirected their attention to understanding the circumstances surrounding Winchester’s imprisonment and rescue..."
In the middle of a milk run mission to retrieve powerful artifacts before they can fall into the hands of galactic terrorists, things go, as always, horribly wrong — and Dean and Castiel are mortified to discover their bond, if they even have one, is all that stands between the galaxy and its annihilation.
Something is rotten in the state of Starfleet.
