Summary
Mickey Milkovich disappeared from Chicago the day after his father caught him and his boyfriend together. Ian has given up hope. He doesn’t have the time anymore. When Mickey’s fortunes change for the better and he returns, he finds a resentful Ian struggling to support his younger siblings, his mentally ill older brother, and his eight-month-old son.
