Summary
Everyone knows that Dick is the golden child. Jason Todd is the black sheep. Hell, even Damian has a place now as the blood son and current Robin.
What does that make Tim? The Replacement. Aka replaceable. Deep down, he knows that. That's why he became the quiet and reliable one. The one who behaves and excels because that was expected of him. Because he believed it made him invaluable. But really, all it did was to make him numb to the world.
Burnt out, Tim is about to learn how to re-connect with himself and others, one comfort food at a time.

Summary
His face is pale. Lips curled up in a grotesque smile. Torn up the cheeks, oozing blood that drips onto the cement floor. One hand rips at his dark hair, greasy and limp over manic eyes. The other hangs at his side, limply clinging to a gun. “Ha ha ha-” Half frantic laughter, half distraught sobs that rattle through his chest.
Between them, the Joker’s body. Blood blossoming around his head. Brain matter spattered on the floor. Smiling. Eyes vacantly staring up at the ceiling.
“Hahahahaha-”
Bruce approaches slowly. Like he’s approaching a skittish animal. “Tim,” he says softly, and the boy blinks at him, still laughing, still sobbing. There are tears in his eyes. “Tim, put down the gun.”

Summary
Tim's idea of fun is not sitting in some drafty old warehouse, tied hand and foot to a swivel computer chair.
It's a comfy chair, at least. He hasn't even been tied so that the ropes cut into the skin. His captor hasn't shown the slightest inclination toward hurting him — but she also hasn't shown the slightest inclination toward letting him out.
"You could have done this somewhere better, you know," says Tim, and kicks the chair into an idle spin, for lack of anything else to do. It just sort of wobbles and totters forward into a slow turn.
"Oh, don't be like that," says Selina.

Summary
Seven-year-old Tim Drake appears to be the ideal child: intelligent, well-behaved and unfailingly polite.
Across the lawn, the Wayne household lives a very different life. Bruce Wayne and his spirited brood, including Dick, Cass, Jason, Duke and Damian, fill their residence with noise, chaos and unconditional affection, anchored by Alfred’s steady presence.
Tim has spent his entire reality mastering one skill: survival through being flawless. An immaculate boy doesn’t cry. A faultless son doesn’t complain. An impeccable child never gives his parents a reason to hurt him.
He doesn’t expect anyone to notice how small he has become inside his own world.
The Waynes do.
This is the slow unraveling of a secret, the gentle, desperate struggle to protect and save the kid hiding behind polished etiquette.
It’s about the Wayne family who refuse to look away and the boy who discovers that being loved doesn’t require being without blemish.
He just has to step next door.
This is the story of the child who learns that safety, warmth and care were always within reach.
Belonging was waiting for him, just right next door.
