Inspired by a post I saw months and months ago on Tumblr about how Jack was always ready to give Will whatever he needed to catch the Chesapeake Ripper, money and resources be damned. And this was born. It's lighthearted, a little cracky, and written in the style of short little snapshots into their developing relationship over the course of many months.

All he has is a scrambled brain, a broken spine, and a cruel, perching thing on his shoulder to show for it. A perching thing that cackles its favorite phrase:
Hannibal is dead.
