Summary
“Hanguang Jun!” He exclaims, wide-eyed, shamelessly lingering in the other man’s arms. After all, how many opportunities does anyone get to see His Excellency from such proximity? Wei Wuxian is going to look his fill no matter how impertinent it is to stare at a high immortal.
As he endeavours to memorize every exquisite detail of that face, there is a minute crinkle in Lan Wangji’s brows, a slight downturn of the lips. “Are you quite finished,” Lan Wangji asks with a frosty glare.
OR
Wei Wuxian schemes to get close to the hero he admires - with only the purest of intentions, of course.
As usual, things do not go according to plan, but he ends up closer to His Excellency than ever intended.

Not at all like the dark-eyed gloss-lipped creature he’s seen flirt with half their year, full of confidence and charisma. “I – of course it was. But it was also definitely the height of stupidity. Lan Zhan, I broke your arm.”
OR: Recovering from an unfortunate accident, Lan Zhan harnesses the power of guilt to do the one thing no one else has managed: make Wei Ying take care of himself.

Wei Wuxian sits down next to Lan Wangji, sliding until their thighs touch. Lan Wangji passes him his bowl of breakfast and spoon and Wei Wuxian digs in, humming after his first few bites. Lan Wangji appreciates how clearly Wei Wuxian allows Lan Wangji to perceive when he is pleased. Lan Wangji had worried, at first, that he would not know how best to be good to Wei Wuxian, that Wei Wuxian was used to accepting so little without complaint. He didn’t want things to be adequate. He wanted to make Wei Wuxian’s life everything he deserves. But Wei Wuxian does his best to leave Lan Wangji with no doubt. It is like the bunnies, in some ways; a happy Wei Wuxian will lie flat, will reveal his vulnerable underbelly.

Staring down at their hands, Lan Zhan shakes his head. It's a slow, loose shake, so different from his tight movements of just moments ago. Almost like he's drunk. An uncomfortable thought arises at this apparent level of relief.
"How...how long have you been in pain?" Wei Wuxian asks.
Lan Wangji is so preoccupied on one of his precious, rare nighthunts with Wei Wuxian that he does not feel it when a tiny, quiet curse latches onto him.

Summary
“Here we are,” Wei Wuxian murmurs softly, to mask the horrible fondness in his voice. The queasiness of what he said in the forest hasn’t faded, joined by anxiety that Lan Zhan might actually remember it. “Into bed you go.”
The clumsy act of depositing Lan Zhan onto his bed almost feels familiar, now, for the third time. The secret intimacy of it, his charming helplessness. But there’s something else to it tonight. It feels…allowed, instead of stolen. Though he knows he shouldn’t let it get to him. None of this is allowed at all.
Before Wei Wuxian leaves the Cloud Recesses, he accidentally gets Lan Wangji drunk. Unavoidably, some things are said (and done).
