Summary
On April 21st the unnamed suspected serial killer was found guilty of all accused crimes; including—but not limited to—murder, cannibalism, and violently resisting arrest. He has been sentenced to a lifetime in Alcatraz Prison, Brazil; the claim of insanity was accepted, but did nothing to reduce the sentence.
While the man was originally on trial for petty theft and resisting arrest, the prosecution along with the police quickly built a case linking him to the gruesome, cannibalistic murders that have been happening throughout the city for the past few months.
“We suggest citizens continue to stay vigilant.” Detective Jorge Medina stated. “Just because the killings have stopped, it doesn’t mean we’re safe. He could be working with others who have temporarily gone underground, or he could inspire copycat killers—common for this type of crime.”
