Something Something Peter kept a family trip a secret from Henry which got him in trouble since he packed at the last minute.
Henry was not pleased.
But instead of pouring mud in Peter’s trousers as revenge like usual, he decided to form a “brotherly pact” with him and share some secrets to restore their trust.
Though now… he probably wished he went with a basic prank.
Because his whole pact-making backfired.
(A.K.A Henry tells Peter he has a crush on Ralph, regrets it, but then doesn’t regret so much anymore.)

Summary
Great Aunt Greta stays over for the holidays, much to Henry’s dismay. He knew he was getting another girly gift.
But after a funny and ironic story about his mum’s horrid days in childhood—Strangely enough, Henry found his most recent girly gift… less lame.
After all… this might’ve been the first time someone declared him more deserving of something than whoever the latter would be.
Or in a more simple way: Aunt Greta tells Henry that his mum—Fuming/Fake Francesca—used to be a spoiled little devil. Then gives Henry the very toy his mum always wanted (but didn’t deserve) when she was a little girl. Henry gatekeeps the toy to spite his mum for being a total hypocrite. But actually ends up appreciating the gift in a strange way.
(While it’s nothing like the film, this fic was inspired by the “Barbie Boy 2014” short film. Because I genuinely thought it was impressive that they represented a little boy who likes playing with dolls, without stereotyping the little boy with a fruity personality. Just having fun with them.)

He’d always known Henry was good with kids, his ability to match their energy was practically legendary, but this was different. This was Henry pouring his heart into something bigger than himself. Peter opened his mouth to say something, but his throat closed around the words, emotions tangling in his chest.
Before he could speak, a girl with pigtails and paint-streaked overalls pointed at him from across the room. “Hey! Who’s the fancy man in the suit?”
The room went quiet for a split second before Henry’s grin turned wolfish. “That, my little monsters, is my baby brother, Perfect Peter.”
Peter’s face flushed, but he straightened, ever the professional. “Hello, it’s a pleasure to—”
“Ugh, he looks like he works in a bank,” the pigtailed girl interrupted, scrunching her nose. A boy with a gap-toothed grin chimed in, “Yeah, a boring bank! Does he ever smile?”
The kids erupted in giggles, and Peter’s cheeks burned hotter. He bowed his head, mortified, as Henry doubled over, wheezing with laughter. “Oh, you lot are savage! Keep it up, you’re making my day!”
Peter shot him a glare. “Very mature, Henry.”

Summary
The palm of Henry’s hand connected with the back of Peter's head, delivering a stinging slap that echoed through the kitchen. Peter let out a high-pitched yelp, the toast flying from his hand and landing butter-side down on the table.
"Ow! Henry, what the hell?!" he squealed, clutching his head as his face flushed red with a mix of pain and indignation.
But Henry wasn't done. Not even close. He grabbed Peter by the shoulders, yanked him out of the chair, and spun him around like he weighed nothing.
Before Peter could squirm free, Henry's fingers found his cheeks, pinching them hard and pulling. Peter's face contorted in a comical mix of pain and outrage, his arms flailing uselessly as he tried to break free.
"You little worm!" Henry snapped, as he tugged harder, making Peter's cheeks burn. "You think you can just waltz into some dodgy party, get drunk, talk to lamps like a complete moron, and I'm just gonna let it slide? If you ever pull a stunt like that again, I'll personally pay for your funeral, and I'll make sure they put you in a cardboard coffin with not even a single flower while everyone cries about what an idiot you were!"
