Each morning, Lincoln takes in the face in the mirror, and sometimes, he likes what he sees.
Other times, Link glances over the wide eyes done up in borrowed eyeliner, the jawline that seems too square, too sharp today, frets at the broad slope of shoulders, the indelicate scarred brow and callused hands and battered, ashy knees, tries to sculpt the features there into something more feminine with willpower alone.
Or: Lincoln tries on a dress for the first time and comes out to her boyfriend.

Summary
“Mornin’, sweetheart,” Link slurs, voice low and lazy and scratchy from sleep, and he shifts a bit more.
Suddenly, there’s a warm, pliant pressure against Taylor’s chapped lips, followed by a soft pop as Link breaks the kiss. “Ten m’re minness, mkay?”
And with that, Link tucks his head into the side of Taylor’s neck, drapes his arm across Taylor’s stomach, and drops back off into slumber.
What the fuck.
“What the fuck?” Taylor exclaims aloud, because his best friend just kissed him like he’s been doing it for months on end and they’re very close, but never like that.
Or: Lincoln dreams about his life in the simulation, and some wires get crossed.

Lincoln clears his throat. “Is something the matter, my prince? Margarita told me it was urgent.”
“Very,” Taylor replies, with the beginnings of a smirk on his face despite everything. “I need you to sleep with me.”
Sir Lincoln chokes, sputtering incoherently.
“Ah. My apologies, I should have worded that better,” Taylor says, though it is clear to both of them that he is not that sorry.
“Please. Please do that,” his knight mutters.
After an assassination attempt on Prince Taylor’s life, Sir Lincoln has difficulties sleeping well. Taylor seeks to remedy this as effectively as possible - propriety be damned.

“Can you get off me, please?” Lincoln deadpans instead, jostling Taylor on his back a bit. “Wanna stand up.”
“Hmmmmm, on one condition,” Taylor muses slyly. His jet black hair gleams with sweat under the scattered fluorescents, and stray strands tickle the side of Lincoln’s neck as Taylor leans in even closer.
“Remove my makeup for me?”
Or: After a long, tiring concert set, Lincoln helps Taylor backstage. One thing leads to another, and he gets a little more than he bargained for.

Lincoln trails off as he notices the way Taylor’s eyes rove over his figure, like he is attempting to picture the map of pockmarks and scores that lie beneath his armor. He feels oddly exposed, uncomfortable in his prince’s burning sight.

Summary

Normal was born into the supernatural. A child of fae and fang, he tries his best to be a Good Neighbor - so when he catches scent of a new vampire in class, he tries his best to help Scary adjust however he can.
Ask anyone, and they’ll tell you that Taylor Swift is the coolest kid around. But what they don’t know is that he has an even cooler secret - he’s actually half-demon! Some of the side effects aren’t nearly as fun as advertised, but he’ll make sure he comes out on top.
Lincoln Li-Wilson thought he knew everything about his parents, but when faced with the strange abilities of his newfound friends, things start to fall apart. With witchcraft and weaponry as his inheritance, Lincoln has to sort out who the real monsters are to keep their pack safe.

“Okay, fine,” Normal conceded, and without a moment’s hesitation, Lincoln lifted Normal’s arm so he could kiss the damaged skin there. There was a pulse of energy from his hands - despite himself, Normal thought for a moment that it might come from his lips - and Normal grinned as the familiar warmth of Lay on Hands knit his wounds closed. “Thank you, Lincoln.”
“Yeah, of course.”
The kiss itself didn’t fluster him. It was just a silly joke based on a shared childhood experience that Normal could barely remember. The smile that Lincoln gave him as he raised his head, impossibly soft and gentle, did make Normal’s heart stutter in his chest.

Lincoln kisses Normal's injuries better. Normal doesn't know what to do with it.

“These guys have pretty bad manners,” he commented, watching as they turned around the corner and disappeared from sight. He turned back to Scary and realized that she was standing perfectly still, almost stiff as she stared down at their hands. “Scary? You okay there?”
She jolted back to life, her eyes snapping back up to meet his. “Huh? Nothing.”
That wasn’t a sensical answer to what he had said, but he pretended not to notice. “Alright. Let’s try and find the others, okay?”
“Yeah, sure,” Scary replied, her voice sounding off. Her gaze drifted down again. “Uh, or we could like, go wait somewhere for them. I don’t really wanna go to GameStop anyways, let’s just skip ahead and go to Hot Topic.”
Normal started to follow her gaze down but she jerked on their hands, starting to walk ahead, and he jolted to attention as he followed her. “Well. Okay?”
