Summary
"Maa, did I do you some kind of favor without noticing, kunoichi-san?" He finally asked, intrigued despite himself.
She took a pen out of her forearm bracer and twirled it between her fingers with a predatory smile. "Oh, no. I just thought I'd prepare it in advance so you only have to sign it."
"Oh, and why-ever for?"
She flipped the pen over so that he could easily take it from her hand, 'coincidentally' pointing it straight at his nose in the process. She shot a quick sideways glance at Sakura before her eyes came back to his and smiled in a way that scrunched her nose cutely. "You sign it, and I take care of your... problem for you." She answered him with a tasteful eyebrow waggle. Kakashi had no idea how she managed to make eyebrow waggle tasteful, seduction specialist sure were something else.
Or: Kakashi is despairing about Sakura's habit to wear civilian perfume, and well on his way to becoming canon Kakashi. Except a chunin kunoichi sees it and decides it's an excellent Opportunity to get Kakashi to owe her one

Summary
The smallest change can make the biggest difference.
In one universe, Naruto took after his father, and the citizens of Konohagakure thought it a cruel joke that the Kyuubi container mocked the image of the Yondaime. In this universe, Naruto was born with Uzumaki red hair, and they thought him the very embodiment of the demon fox.
With a different upbringing until he was five as a result, the ripple effect of this change will reverberate across the continent.

Summary
Naruto had plans—pined in red string in his mind, connecting each path he'd ever wanted to take and could with ease or difficulties. He'd looked through them many times, taking a few down and shelving them to collect dust, or adding more to them.
Simply, Naruto could never see himself as a kage when there's only loss present in his veins. He took the responsibility of leading for his people, so that they would return home as one and it's one thing he dreams most of—he dreams of home and feels the yearning of the seals.
After the end, Naruto finds Uzushiogakure, his clan's home. In the Uzumaki sealed chambers, he lies and hopes as his eyes close that this is it—but it never is that easy when it comes to him.
(Or, a time-travel fix-it because I decided it's time for a feel-good era which has good endings.)

Summary
Naruto is only five years old when the Hokage whisks her away from that terrible orphanage and gives her an apartment of her own.
But Naruto is only five years old, and the money she’s given once a month barely lasts two weeks with the prices that the shops charge her. Naruto is only five years old, and she doesn’t know how to cook for herself or how to safely pick up glass from shattered windows. She doesn’t know how to get bloodstains out of the floor either.
Konoha has abandoned her. Luckily, she isn’t the only one.
Street kids teach her how to lift wallets from civilians that won’t notice. She finds siblings among those with no parents or matrons to tell them to hate her. Prostitutes teach her how to take care of herself. She finds mothers among those who dry her tears and teach her how to smile in the face of all hardships. Gangsters defend her home from the villagers that constantly vandalize it. She finds mentors among those who teach her to bare her teeth and fight back.
Konoha is eager to forget the kind of power that comes with a jinchuuriki’s sacrifice, but the red-light district isn’t. They know that power like that can change their lives. Why would they alienate the girl who holds it?
