Summary
Dream watches as George closes his eyes, seems to take a deep, slow breath, and then pulls him in, closer still, and closer, until they’re kissing, slowly, and it makes so much sense. Except that it doesn’t, but that doesn’t matter because it feels right. The kiss is gentle, but intent; so sure. Dream’s breath is gone.
The moment they separate for air, Dream wakes up, slightly out of breath. He sets a hand on his chest and feels his heart beating fast.
