She was still hovering awkwardly in front of the couch, she realized. So she moved to sit on the other side, leaning slightly against the couch cushion as she glanced carefully at Bose. "Like- the same as it actually happened, or did the dream change stuff?"
Bose paused again before answering. "I- don't know. Woke up before we could get Mika back." He furrowed his eyebrows, clearly trying to remember the dream. "…I think I was trying to stop her this time. So. That changed."
"Oh." And then the question escaped before she could stop it. "Was I doing anything? In the dream?"
He glanced at her, then away again. "Just- holding back Miles, I guess."

She's sitting in Bose's bed, arms loosely wrapped around the boy curled up against her side like he's trying to hide himself in every single shred of offered comfort. And she's aching with exhausted fury, the kind of anger that would be exploding out of her if she wasn't so tired; as it is, it's just a dull flicker burning quietly in her chest.
"I'm going to attack your stepdad." She bites out the familiar words the same way she always does, with the same irrational hope that he'll somehow be able to hear the unspoken you deserve so much better than this without her having to say it out loud.on loving your mirror, loving your reflection, and realizing that the former will almost always lead you to the latter.
(or: bose & chapa hurt/comfort, with a side of complicated parental issues and holding your friend close at night while quietly unlearning the idea that you're hard to love.) -

Summary
Realistically, Chapa should have expected to get caught sooner. She was managing to break into an amusement park with half-decent security every night; she had always known that if the park's management ever fixed the fence, or if they realized one of their security cameras was broken, she'd be in hot water.
So- yeah. She should have seen this coming.
But she didn't. She got too comfortable, let her guard slip for too long, and got completely blindsided by something that should have been obvious from the start.
Of course they would notice the camera was down, eventually. Of course they would send someone to go figure out why.
And of course, of course, because she apparently couldn't catch a single break ever-
-of course that person would be Shoutout.or: Chapa gets caught breaking into an amusement park, has a bit of an anxiety attack, and realizes that her crush on Shoutout has reached the point of being actually genuinely in love with her. pretty much in that order.

Platonic Soulmate AU With Telepathy.
- Soulmate AU where you and your soulmates are telepathically linked once you meet. You can turn this on and off once you learn how.
- Soulmates are platonic in this universe. As in, your soulmate could be a romantic partner, but that's not related to the soulmate thing at all, and just as many soulmates are friends or family or what-have-you.
- Main four kids get to be telepathically linked soulmates, yippee.
- The connection with a soulmate is only completely severed when that soulmate dies. (Getting transported into another universe would also sever the connection, but obviously no one is aware of this.)- Words:

- The LeafCrow parentage scandal happened when the original Three were in high school. Brambleclaw knew about it from the beginning, though.

Summary
Chapa cracks her head open against the pavement, and dies.
Then, she opens her eyes.
Soon after Ray retires, Danger Force gets in a fight they cannot win, and die. They wake up as ghosts a few days before Henry Hart becomes Kid Danger, and are forced to watch his life, and then their lives, unfold.

Summary
Laurie’s not sure how she got herself into this situation.
Her relationship with Yuwen started and ended on the field. They’re teammates - used to be teammates. Nothing more, nothing less. She can never make conversation with him, always stuttering or saying the wrong thing, and Yuwen always teases her, the line between sharp and playful far too blurred after years of biting remarks.
By all means, they shouldn’t ever have fallen into…whatever this is.
But, well. No one else hugs her as tight as Yuwen does, and Laurie’s never seen the boy as pleasantly happy as when they’re together.
So.
Laurie’s just going to go along with it, and see where things go.
(Laurie and Yuwen get into an “acquaintances with benefits” situationship, with the benefits being cuddles.)

He’s been fired from every job he’s ever worked in, his marriage is quickly and steadily heading towards a divorce, and all his friendships are all but ash on the wind.
But then that meteorite crashes on the outskirts of the city, and he changes. As does Laurie. As do other people around the valley.
And, well…
He might not be the best coach the kids could have, or the support Frank and Vanessa really need, but the newly made Pickles place their trust in him regardless.
Dan won’t let that trust go to waste.
