Summary
It all started with Tony Stark seeking him out in Hell’s Kitchen.
Stark had said they needed his help. Nobody knew Hell’s Kitchen like him and they had reason to believe that Hydra had set up shop there.
Matt had been reluctant, Hydra was dangerous and he wasn’t sure he wanted to be on their radar but they were operating out of his city. That pissed him off.
So he agreed to help them and in return, the Avengers wouldn’t make him sign the Accords or question his methods.
Looking back, he should have let them deal with it alone.

Matt Murdock - mutant, had been the Devil for the better part of a year now. He can deal with a lot of things, underground crime networks, hoards of ninjas, some asshole with a gun causing too much damn chaos, those same criminals somehow getting their hands on sentinel blasters. But this, hearing what he is pretty sure is Foggy Nelson, his best friend, the one he has trusted more than any other person, out there at night doing the same thing that he's doing? He had no idea if he could handle that.

Foggy Nelson - possible mutant, had taken it upon himself to see what this whole vigilante shtick was about. And maybe find out more of who this Devil of Hell's Kitchen was exactly, he didn't trust him, but if Matt and Karen did, maybe there was a chance that something good could come out of this. And besides, with a bit of heightened strength and the ability to change gravity around himself, what could go wrong?

Summary
The Murdock boys always had the devil in them. They thought that was just a saying, not a silent mutation carrying through their family line until radioactive runoff turns it into something dramatic. Matt looks like an actual demon, and has a lot more than super senses to keep secret if he doesn't want to get caught.
