Alex shrugs again, but Vi's been Alex before. She knows what a quick glance up at her and then away means. Please don't make me beg if you're going to say no.
"I guess."
"I'll go talk to her," Vi says, helping Alex takes the gloves off. "You can keep the wraps. If you need to hit anything, that will make it better."
"Kay."
"Kay," Vi parrots back. Alex trails after her. "What's your foster mum called?"
Vi yanks the door open, ready for a fight with a snooty old woman. She stops so suddenly that Alex barrels into her back. Because sure, the woman in front of her is snooty as fuck, but heavens is she pretty.
"Caitlyn," Alex says as she opens her arms for a running Lavender. "Caitlyn Kiramman."

It's annoying as well because Piltover Ladies are posh and rude and wilfully ignorant but fuck can they vault and stand on a beam without falling.
Especially Caitlyn Kiramman.
Annoyingly stuck up and showcasing the worst of Piltover, but she has dominated the floor routine every year since Vi started competing professionally.
She's going to be Vi's meal ticket.
Caitlyn, with her flawless posture even when not competing, and her silly little perfect smile when she nails a routine, has more money than everyone put together. From Vi’s team and hers. Still, because life has never been anything other than unfair as fuck, she also has sponsorship's as long as her arms.

___Nobody really sees Caitlyn Kiramman, especially when she's performing as the Andrew Ridgeley of a Wham! cover duo alongside her very own George Michael. Vi is everything Caitlyn isn't. She's cool, she can sing and dance, and most notably, people see her. With December approaching, Caitlyn is met with a whole new array of challenges, including her judgmental dog, her grieving father, and Vi, who for some reason, asks Caitlyn questions about herself and invites her out for hot apple cider.
Or... Caitlyn is half of a Wham! cover duo, and the overstimulation of it all leaves her exhausted and out of spoons.
