‘Everyone calm down!’ He shouted. People stopped leaving, their faces filled with anxiety. Her breath came in short, shallow gasps. Scott’s mom looked at her worriedly. She mouthed the words, ‘You okay?’ and Lydia nodded. She might've laughed if the situation wasn't so dire, because it was the farthest from the truth that she had ever felt before.
He turned to look at her before speaking again. ‘Has anybody been shot?’ There were glances and whispers, but no one came forward. No one was hurt. He took a deep breath in before glancing at Scott. He looked around at everyone, spinning, as if searching for someone. He whispered something, worry written clearly on his face. His eyes widened.
This night couldn’t get any worse, could it?
‘Where’s Stiles?’ Everybody on the field froze. ‘Where the hell is my son?’
Lydia’s eyes darted around the crowd, scanning the faces for any sign of Stiles.

Or: Uther is having a horrible day, Arthur discovers the power of teenage rebellion despite not being a teenager, Morgana gets the support she needs, and somehow, no one notices Merlin sweating in the corner.
