Summary
Maki wants to be normal.
Maybe they'll send him to an institution, work be damned, where nurses will jab him with needles all day long and he'll be forced to wear a shock collar until he's normal. Until there's nothing wrong with him anymore, and he'll receive a stamp at the bottom of his paperwork that says no longer a threat to society.

Summary
Nicholas steps over, paw pads silent against the hardwood. He rests his head on Euijoo’s chest, wraps his arms around his middle and sighs softly. Euijoo’s breath catches in his throat and the stinging in his eyes makes it hard to see straight. But the feline doesn’t let go, rubbing his cheek against Euijoo’s sternum. “Don’t make it a big deal.”
Euijoo will come to learn what all it entails. For now, he assumes it means Nicholas’ affection. It’s tough, but Euijoo will comply. “Okay. I won’t.”It's the twenty-third century. Felines live almost normally amongst humans. In Euijoo's case it means sharing a house with one by the name of Nicholas.

Summary
he’s okay. nicholas repeats the words in his head again and again as he clings to euijoo. his chest feels cracked open and hollowed out, a shell of someone that he's not sure he ever was. his new meds make him sluggish and lethargic, which doesn't help with the shame and guilt he already feels for spending so much time in bed. he hasn't been able to stomach a full meal in three weeks. he doesn't feel any better, despite the treatment he's been receiving.
but for some reason, when euijoo says he's okay, nicholas believes him.
