Summary
Sea Captain Toad has a regular routine: avoid anyone who wants to tag along on his ship, visit his father from time to time, just anything that he can do alone. Now, he doesn't know what to do when he gets stuck with a strange man who knows not even an ounce of English, and sticks to his side despite not understanding a single word he says. And now, this man wants to join him as he sets out to sea, bringing along with him a weirdly accurate sea chart and secrets that he might not be ready for.

“Oh nevermind questions from you, I'm the one who should be asking.” He continues writing for a little longer, finishing it off with a dramatic full stop, his pen bleeding into the paper where he lets the tip of it dig into the surface. The Professor's chest rises and falls, a deep breath which Ode already knows to be the beginning of a bombardment of questions.
“Okay, I've been distracted long enough. Let's get back on topic…” The Professor pauses, before tugging lightly at the end of Ode's jacket. “Please take this off. And your shirt, too.”
