"Close now. Remember the rules?" Ghost talks loud to be heard, but his voice rumbles low and deeper through him than the engines and their repetitive noise, an edge there that Soap can’t put his finger on, reminiscent of how he sounds when Price tightens their leash.
"There are no rules," he echoes their earlier conversation, but relents as Ghost narrows his eyes. "Forty-eight hours. I'm late, I fail. I'm caught, I fail. I die to some random animal attack or 'cause I break my ankle, I fail and ye won't come find me. That about it?"
Soap has some things to work out. Ghost is happy to help.

Aziraphale felt anger flicker in his gut “You are the one that left Crowley.” Aziraphale dropped the books on the desk again and took a couple steps to be in front of Crowley. “You left this very shop. You walked straight out those doors. Away from me. From us.”

Buck glanced at the empty bottles. “Isn’t that what the beer was for?”
“That’s just making you more sad.”
Buck frowned at his friends observation. Just cause it was true didn’t mean he had to just accept it. He looked at his best friend, at the hopeful but hesitant glint in his eyes, and thought fuck it. May as well try something else. “What did you have in mind?”
Eddie shuffled closer to him, until his knee poked Buck’s thigh. Buck felt his stomach flip, unable to look away from the intensity that had suddenly appeared in Eddies eyes.
“You trust me don’t you, Buck?”
Buck nodded slowly, breath hitching as Eddie began to lean in---
Or Eddie comforts Buck after "Buck begins" and it end up with them becoming friends with benefits which isnt a stupid idea, right?

Then Tommy appeared and suddenly Eddie’s attention was split, and Buck felt a bit lost. Because Eddie was his best-friend, and Buck wants his attention all the time. That’s why he was at the basketball game. He wanted Eddie’s attention, because he always wants Eddie’s attention, because he wants Eddie. He was jealous of the guy he liked taking the guy he loved away from him.
