The two process the heartbreaking proclamation that dangles in the atmosphere. For Izuku, it feels like the painful truth of his reality, but for Katsuki, it’s a gutwrenching realization of how deep the insecurities go.
“Izuku.” The use of his given name activates a rush of tears as he looks at the barbarian. Red eyes are clouded with sincerity, something usually too vulnerable for Kacchan’s liking: “I love you.”
Izuku absolutely breaks, a sob rips the back of his throat, making him suffocate momentarily. His leg falls out of the chair as his arms wrap around his waist.
“That’s not fair,” He can't breathe through the rattling hiccups, “Why can Kacchan love me in every other universe except this one?”
OR: fantasy Katsuki gets swapped with UA Katsuki and Izuku is freaking the fuck out about it

Summary
Katsuki being an omega is great. Shouto’s glad to have another ally, he really is. It’s just… Katsuki’s enduring his first heat at the moment, and while Shouto mostly just feels sorry that he has to deal with that pain on his own, he also feels the tiniest bit of resentment.
As he sits in the living room with all of these alphas, he thinks not only of how Katsuki would make this sausage fest more bearable, but also of how compatible Katsuki is with the alphas in this room. How he needs an alpha to make him feel better during his heats. How, once again, Shouto is a step below everyone else in the room.
No one needs a beta.

Todoroki Shouto is extremely hot, which is OK with Katsuki since they're dating. Unfortunately, Katsuki is not the only person who's noticed that Shouto is hot, and that? That is not OK with Katsuki at all.

This is actually a prequel to the main story "Learn to fly again" which is centered on AtsuHina, but the characters acted on their own and I ended up putting also a lot of BokuAkaSamu there, and I reaaally liked how Akaashi's character developed and wanted to just... write more, so here it is.
You don't need to read "Learn to fly again" to enjoy this fanfic tho!

Suddenly there's another arm, shooting in between Hitoshi and the guy, one powerful hand tightly gripping the offending arm and then of all things, Bakugo's voice rings out.

Summary
Hitoshi expects Aizawa to come forth like a wraith or maybe Tokoyami, who has kept him company every now and then but when Bakugo shuffles into the communal room, Hitoshi blinks in confusion.
Bakugo keeps to a strict sleeping schedule and he gets highly irritated if something disrupts it so it's beyond rare to see him down here at—Hitoshi quickly checks his phone—three thirty in the morning.
He watches how Bakugo moves further into the room, dragging his feet like a zombie and it takes Bakugo an embarrassingly long time until he seems to notice Hitoshi.
Bakugo freezes when his eyes fall onto the couch and Hitoshi can see the tension flowing through Bakugo's entire body.

Everyone is kind of wary around him, and the girls especially. Yaoyorozu would probably agree to tutor him because she's too nice to tell anyone no but Hitoshi doesn't want to put her into that kind of position, doesn't want to make her uncomfortable like that.
His next best option makes him sigh with pre-emptive exhaustion, because Bakugo is second only after Yaoyorozu and Hitoshi knows that Bakugo has no qualms telling him to fuck off should he not want to tutor him or should he be uncomfortable but Bakugo really isn't his first choice and should he even agree to tutor Hitoshi then it will be beyond exhausting.
Hitoshi eyes the red mark on his test again and with a sinking feeling in his gut he knows that he can't afford to be picky about this.

Hitoshi sees the hit coming and Aizawa has trained him long enough that he would have managed to evade Bakugo's hand but then he fires off his quirk, gives his punch that much more speed and Hitoshi has just enough time to think 'Fuck' before he's being backhanded so hard he literally sees stars.
There's a ringing in his ears but Hitoshi still hears someone yell and then he hits the ground, hard.
