Winds up with Rollins’s foot pressing down on his back, right between his shoulder blades. And fuck, but Brock's not quite sure whether to be relieved or mournful Jack’s wearing just trainers and not the standard issue heavy leather boots that go with their tac gear.

“You don’t have to do this,” Brock says quietly, speaking it to the rough carpet in front of him instead of looking up at Jack. It doesn't matter how many times they do this; he always worries that he'll see distaste in Jack’s eyes, or even worse, disgust.
“I know I don’t have to,” comes Jack’s soft reply from above him. It’s the same thing he says every time Brock asks. “I want to, okay?”
He’s lying though, and they both know it. No matter what he says, Jack has never wanted to do this.
