“Wait,” Lance pauses and raises an eyebrow, “were you afraid I was gonna perform an exorcism on you or something?”
“I did.”
“Hm, maybe I should have,” Lance mumbles, bringing the mug to his nose and breathing in.
Keith remains unimpressed. “I could haunt you for real.”
“Spooky.” Lance grins and takes a sip of his now perfect coffee.

He's got a great job at a high-end parfumerie, he's up for a promotion after the holidays, and his relationship with his anonymous penpal 'Dear Friend' is starting to get pretty serious. Things take a turn for the worst, however, when some new upstart named Keith gets hired at his store and he and Lance start constantly butting heads, putting his beloved job in danger. Suddenly, Lance's rose-tinted life isn't so easy anymore.
